X-Files Thoughts

1. Mulder/Scully literally defines the word Shippy. In my heart of hearts they are my all-time OTP.
2. Arcadia is not the sucky episode that everyone makes out to be - it's cue, okay? Live with it.
3. How the Ghosts Stole Christmas is the best episode ever. Lily Tomlin rocks.
4. The movie release is too far away.
5. Gillian Anderson seriously messed with my head because she drew a bee in her doodle for doodle week. Bees and the Mulder/Scully ship = not compatible.
6. For some reason I find it impossible to watch Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny, or Mitch Pileggi in anything other than the XF. It puts me in a really bad mood - like it spoils the show somehow.
7. Did anyone understand the conspiracy really? I always assumed it was because I had come to the show late - but no - I watched it from the start later on and still didn't get it.
8. Krycek is not that fit. He's okay, alright?
9. And no. Mulder doesn't do it for me either (alhough I like the character).
10. The Complete X-Files on DVD (all 9 series in one box) is my fourth favourite possession after my car, my computer, and my iPod. Out of those four it's the only that I haven't called a peice of junk for failing to work. 

Doctor Who/Torchwood Thoughts

1. Donna has already joined Rose at the (shared) top spot for best companion ever as far as I'm concerned. This finale could be will be mind-blowing with them both.
2. Does anyone also find that, out of the companions, Donna is the only one whose outfits you would actually wear?
3. Speaking of, Martha needs a new vest top. You've made the girl suffer enough without bringing the red one back five times.
4. Tosh should NOT have died. She should have joined the Doctor instead (always felt DW was more Tosh's show after her first outing in it).
5. Someone needs to take Jack's character to hand. He rocks on DW and sucks on TW - they need to learn that he's more entertaining when he's a) Noble and Fair, and b) the Naughty Stuff is winked at but not shown.
6. Why hasn't the Doctor been slapped this series? Why? You've proved Donna can act now, let her have one comedy slap moment and give her a rest from crying.
7. If they don't have at least one shippy Doctor/Rose moment the fandom WILL be baying for the blood of RTD.
8. Why, oh why, has the blue suit returned? We were well rid of it!
9. Steven Moffat deserved the BAFTA he won for writing. He better scare the pants off me again this time too.
10. DW and Torchwood have to do a serious crossover. Hub meets TARDIS, TeamTARDIS meet TeamTorchwood honest-to-god more-than-one-character crossover. They should do it as a surprise for next season of TW so that everyone who think's they are only getting three specials will get an extra treat. 

General Fandom

1. Why don't British people write much fanfic for none cult shows? I would SELL MY SOUL for some decent Midsomer Murders, Kingdom, Jonathon Creek, or general Sunday Night telly romantic fanfic (Cully/Troy, Lyle/the Irish Girl whose name escapes me, Jonathon/Maddy. And yet there's bugger all out there. Heck - Midsomer Murders (as bizarre as it seems) is Johnny Depp's favourite TV show - surely a JD fangirl could write something?  
2. Cully should NOT be marrying that guy on Midsomer Murders. She's had three different fit blokes working with her dad. She should have the decency to fall for one of them.
3. Ashes to Ashes isn't bette or worse than Life on Mars, okay? I love both, and when I want agonisingly-good drama, I'll watch LoM, when I want sexual chemistry, I'll watch Ashes to Ashes. The fandom fills all needs. If you ship Sam/Gene, simply reverse my statement.
4. Philip Glenister is BORN TO PLAY Sam Vimes. "Vimes is the Commander of the City Watch, the burgeoning police force of the Discworld's largest city, Ankh-Morpork. His rise from alcoholic policeman to respected member of the aristocracy, and the growth and development of the Watch under his command, have together been one of the major threads of the Discworld series. Born into poverty, he is now a highly reluctant member of the nobility, having been made both a knight and a duke.
5. Why oh why aren't there more shippy Morgan/Garcia moments on Criminal Minds?
6. Why oh why is Reid being ignored in this series of Criminal Minds?
7. Why did I fancy the pants of Spike and yet Captain John irratated me? They are essentially identical characters. Am I really so shallow that all I fancied was the cheekbones and blonde hair? 
8. Why did they cancel Joan of Arcadia? It rocked and they left my favourite ship unresolved.
9. Terry Pratchett does not deserve what's happening to him and he deserves a lot more recognition for what he does.
10. Not a fandom thought but WHY IS IT SO COLD? I'm freezing and yet it's hot and sunny outside.

 

I don't remember the name of this episode. That won't be a problem as I won't be watching it again. What annoys me more was that I was really looking forward to this episode as well.

I was reminded about doing this after watching it for the second time last night.
