| Movies to watch today, while eating macaroni & cheese:
1776 The Patriot Independence Day
Yeah... that's about it.
*bows to Ceasar Rodney* <-- for we are not worthy.
And I don't know the proper action of respect, but whatever it is, do it for John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, as they both died today.
Seriously. Within four hours of each other.

| Another meme to distract me from some spoilery cuts for Journey's End. Only two more days! :D
1. Comment to this post with the name of a character that I have written in fic. Or geeked out about, at least. Or, heck, a character I should geek out about.
2. I will comment telling you the following:
A. What initially prompted me to like the character enough to write about him/her. B. One of his/her best traits. C. One of his/her worst traits. D. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character (if applicable). E. The story/chapter/paragraph/phrase where I feel that I truly captured the character (if I've written them). F. My plans (if any) to write the character in the near future.

Tomato is what I taste like.
I taste like nothing, except a tomato. I'm sometimes sweet and sometimes tart; sometimes juicy, sometimes crisp. The roles of a tomato are many and varied. I am an exception to all the rules. What Flavour Are You?

| A question for you Philes:
Is it ever clear what kind of injury Mulder received in Millennium? His arm looks all bloody, so I'm assuming zombie bites/scratches. His arm was in a sling, but I don't recall anything said about what kind of injury it was that would need the sling. Dislocated shoulder? Broken collarbone?
Any help/insights would be appreciated for a story I'm writing.

| Spoilers for "the Stolen Earth" YOU HAVE TO WATCH THIS!!!!

| I just receieved an alert from Fandango that showtimes and tickets for The X-Files: I want to Believe were available. I don't know if I'm the first person to get this, but I just thought I'd share.
I live in Portland, Oregon*, and these are the times they gave me for theaters near my zip code, 97220. Both theaters are from Vancouver, Washington, though:
Theater 1) 11:25 AM ; 2:00 PM ; 4:35 PM ; 7:10 PM ; 9:45 PM
Theater 2) 10:45 AM ; 1:30 PM ; 4:15 PM ; 7:00 PM ; 9:45 PM
I'm kinda mad there's not a midnight showing on the 24th. That would be a lot more fun. :] And it's weird that there's only like 5 showings on OPENING DAY!!! I still don't know how long the movie actually is, but shouldn't it be released at more times? I hope this isn't like Fight the Future, because people complained that it wasn't released in enough theaters.
*If you live in Oregon and are a huge XF fan please let me know :]

| Now I know for many shows people like to say that they were fans since the very beginning, since the first episode. I also know that this is rarely true. In my 23 years there has been one show that I was a fan of that I saw every episode from the very first one, and that was Dawson's Creek because it was being promo'd like crazy in all the magazines and channels I read and watched, and I was a 13 year old 8th grader. For the X-Files, I can remember the very first episode I saw. It was Squeeze, the third episode of the first season. BUT, I did not see this episode until late 1995 and the original air date was September 1993. So, community, what was the first episode you saw, and how did you come across it? What made you watch the X-Files? What was the draw? It wasn't until I was 13 that my friend Eileen and I realized how amazingly hot Mulder was, and we started watching the show around ages 10-11 so that wasn't it. We were drawn in by the actual quality of the show. It was a good show. EDIT: WOW, you guys have really responded to this! They're all really good stories :) Keep sharing! | |

| Hello again. :) I posted some new scans of two German magazines at my journal, and translated a short spoilery part of one of the articles. Find them here. | |

| Spore Creature Creator is SO MUCH FUN. I'm quite proud of this Dalek: The Raxicoricofallapatorian didn't turn out... quite as well. | |
